TV Show ‘The Flash’ actor ‘Rick Cosnett’ Comes out as Gay

TV Show The Flash actor Rick Cosnett has just come out as gay in a sweet video posted on his Instagram account. Another young actor has just joined the list of celebrities who has come out as gay on social media.

You might have know Rick Cosnett, from TV show The Flash, He plays Eddie Thawne on The Flash. He also played Wes Maxfield in The Vampire Diaries, and Elias Harper in Quantico.

The Flash actor Rick Cosnett came officially out of the closet as gay with a brief, simple and sweet announcement on his Instagram. He open up about his sexuality in his message.

In a short clip 36 year old Cosnett says, “Hi everyone, Dramatic pause…. Um, I’m gay and I just wanted everyone to know because I’ve made a promise to myself to live my truth every day and sometimes that is a really hard thing to do when you have all these subconscious things that you don’t even know about from childhood and society and from just life. There you go. I’m sure most of you probably knew anyway. And … um yeah. That’s actually all I wanted to say.”

 

 

The video received a lots of positive comments, including from his former Flash co-stars Candice Patton, who immediately showed her support in a comment and wrote, “you’re one of the good ones. love u,” and also another Flash co-stars Danielle Panabaker showed her support who posted a red heart emoji.

Cosnett was born in Zimbabwe. His family moved to Australia when he was 17, where he studied at Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, eventually receiving a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Acting.

He launched his career When he was cast on a Australian television, It was way before being cast on “Vampire Diaries” in 2013.
