About Miss Tiffany’s Universe
Miss Tiffany’s Universe is a beauty contest for Thai Transgender women in Thailand. It has taken place annually since 1984 in Pattaya, Thailand. Each year, about 100 candidates from across Thailand apply to take part in this pageant. Candidates come from a variety of backgrounds, some are university students, some are doctors, engineers, etc.
Miss Tiffany’s Universe is organized by Tiffany’s Show Pattaya Co, Ltd. a Thailand’s company. The same company that organize Miss International Queen – Trans Beauty Pageant at international level. The Miss Tiffany’s Universe contest held once a year and it is broadcast live on Thai television with an average of 15 million viewers.
The organization supports The Royal-sponsored AIDS Foundation of Thailand. and charity events for the less fortunate. The pageant aim is to raise awareness and equality towards LGBTQ+ and improve the quality of life for transgender persons in Thailand. The pageant opens up lots of opportunities for pageant contestants.
Miss Tiffany’s Universe Requirements:
The Pageant is open to all Transgender women who may or may not have gone through sex reassignment surgery. All contestants need to have Thailand nationality. Age between 18 to 25. Under 20 year of age Contestants need to obtain permission from their parents. The contestants are judged based on physical attributes and overall performance in accordance to the feminine ideal.
The pageant is similar as any other beauty pageant. Over several days contestants take part in many rounds, runways walk in lavish evening gowns, swimwear round etc. There is also a question and answer round. High-profile business owners, celebrities, academics and even the provincial governor attend the final gala event and crown ceremony.

Crown and prize:
The Miss Tiffany’s Universe winner receives a trophy and crown, Honda Jazz, cash prizes, jewellery, and other gifts from sponsors. Besides the overall winner, other special awards include Miss Photogenic, Miss Sexy Star, Miss Congeniality, and Miss Popular Vote. Miss Tiffany’s Universe winner represent Thailand in Miss International Queen.
Miss Tiffany’s Universe 2019 Winners:
A 27-year-old arts student Ruethaipreeya Nuanglee was crowned the winner of Miss Tiffany’s Universe 2019. She was awarded a diamond crown. She will represent Thailand in Miss International Queen 2020.

First runner-up went to Thanyada Kanpaipuen, while second-runner up went to Patchara Sripattanakul.
