The world’s most famous drag queen RuPaul is the host, mentor, main judge and inspiration for tv series RuPaul’s Drag Race, Where RuPaul’s search for “America’s Next Drag Superstar”. This show changed the landscape of drag performance and appreciation worldwide. RuPaul (RuPaul Andre Charles), is an American drag performer, actor, television host. He is the host and judge for his own popular reality television series RuPaul’s Drag Race, for which he has received four Primetime Emmy Awards in 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019.

The show was premiered on February 2, 2009. The show is currently in 12th season. Let’s know about every winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race from season 1 to season 11.


Bebe Zahara Benet (Season 1 Winner)

After winning Season 1, Babe was featured in the music video cameo for RuPaul’s song “Cover Girl (Put The Bass In Your Walk)“. During the Season 10 finale She lip-synced alongside Kalorie Karbdashian-Williams and Miz Cracker. Bebe is on “Drag Me Down the Aisle”. She won cash prize of $20,000, the lowest cash prize in series history.



Tyra Sanchez (Season 2 Winner)

Tyra still holds the title of being the youngest winner, winning at age 21. As the season winner she won cash prize of $25,000 (the 3rd lowest cash prize ever awarded on the show). lifetime supply of NYX cosmetics, a spokesmodel role for NYX cosmetics’ site, an exclusive one year public relations contract with LGBT firm Project Publicity, a featured spot in an LA Eyeworks campaign, a place on Logo’s “Drag Race Tour“.



Raja (Season 3 Winner)

In 2005, ‘Raja Gemini’ started to be the head makeup artist on Tyra Banks’ reality show “America’s Next Top Model“. She has also appeared in Hi Fashion’s music video “Amazing“. She, along with RuPaul, made a brief appearance on “The Simpsons“, on Season 30, Episode 7. As the season winner she won cash prize of $75,000, lifetime supply of Kryolan makeup, spot on the Absolut Tour.



Sharon Needles (Season 4 Winner)

After winning, Needles created her own “horror/trash” music videos and albums featuring artists such as Amanda Lepore, RuPaul and Jane County. In 2013 Her album, “PG-13“, debuted at number 186 on the US “Billboard 200 chart“, sold 3,000 copies in its 1st week (larger sales than RuPaul’s 2011 album “Glamazon“). After winning She also started touring around the world, became a spokenperson for PETA. As the season winner she won cash prize of $100,000. lifetime supply of NYX Cosmetics and the title of “America’s Next Drag Superstar”. headlining spot on “Logo’s Drag Race Tour“.



Jinkx Monsoon (Season 5 Winner)

Jinkx appeared as the lead dancer in the world’s largest drag queen chorus line, which made the “Guinness Book of World Records“. Jinkx also started her own musical career and appeared on the popular western cartoon “Steven Universe” as a voice actor for the character Emerald. As the season winner she won cash prize of $100,000. supply of Colorevolution Cosmetics, a one-of-a-kind trip courtesy of AlandChuck. travel, a headlining spot on Logo’s “Drag Race Tour“.



Bianca Del Rio (Season 6 Winner)

Bianca won “New Orleans Gay Entertainer of The Year” for 3 years before the show and a “NewNowNext” award after the show. In 1993, Bianca (at age 17) won six awards for the “Snow Queen” costumes. She also made costumes for the “New Orleans Opera“. After winning her season, She starred in the movies “Hurricane Bianca” and “Hurricane Bianca 2: From Russia with Hate“, and released her own book (“Blame It On Bianca“) and makeup remover. Bianca is the most followed queen on Instagram, surpassed 2 million followers.
